Finally, Ubuntu 11.04 Released !!!

As free and open source software, no wonder if ubuntu has developed  so quickly since it was first  released  in October  2004 by Cononical LTD. Ubuntu team are committed to support each release for eighteen months by providing security fixes, patches to critical bugs and minor updates to programs. It was decided that every fourth release, issued on a two-year basis, would receive long-term support (LTS). LTS releases are supported for three years on the desktop and five years on the server.

And last April 28th was the most eagerly awaited day by Ubuntu lovers. Because Ubuntu finally released the  newest  version  of Ubuntu 11.04 officially with name code Natty Narwhal. As we know, Ubuntu is always released new version every 6 months, every April and October each year. Its version number was always include the year and month of release. Such as 2 versions that came out in 2010, they are Ubuntu 10.04 and 10.10, and 11.04 that was released in April 2011.

If you want to try it first, you better try 11.04 Alpha in Virtualbox. Although not all features can be obtained from the installation, but maybe you can get some new features as follows:

New Blogger Dashboard. I just can't wait !!

It has been more than 6 months since I use Blogger in Draft. It isn't too different from the old blogger dashboard, but if we notice there are already some options contained in the Blogger in Draft but not in the old Blogger. Actually I was already  very impatient to see the new dashboard, but it seems the blogger teams still have to re-check because of a lack here and there. To the extent that its own team of bloggers to create a site  that contains the progress of their work. the blogger teams create a site  that contains the progress of their work.

For those who do not know you guys can see it here. based on the last article that i read, they were trying their new feature in several blog accounts that follow the Blogger in Draft. But still not all, only a few blogs that lucky. And if there is no feedback that states lack, maybe next generation design for bloggers will be released soon.

Indonesia's Stand Being The Best in Athenian Flower Show

Ornamental plants and flowers are very attractive and very enthused by the family in Greece in laying houses, office buildings and parks. And recently Indonesia had just followed the  57th exhibition  of flowers and ornamental plants  2011, which held by Mayor Kifisia, Athens. And Indonesia has successfully  amaze  the visitors at the opening of this event.

The exhibition was opened by the Minister of Agriculture and Food Development of Greece, Kostas Skandalidis, attended by 115 participants from various producers of flowers and plants from various regions in Greece, including from abroad.

Secretary of  Indonesian Embassy in  Athens, Jani Sasanti said Indonesian Embassy in Athens worked with several plant producers who participated  in this exhibition, they exhibit and sell plants and flowers that grow in Indonesia, such as Anggrek Bulan/Phalaenopsis or Orchid  (Phalaenopis amabilis) and Melati/Jasmine (Jasminum Sambac), and some Indonesian national flowers, Kamboja/Cambodia flowers (Frangipani / Plumeria), Teratai/Lotus flower (Nymphaea), Kantung Semar (Nepenthes) and Palm. These flowers were cultivated by Greece cultivator.

Indonesia's participation aims to introduce Indonesian flora more broadly to the Greek community, and to increase the  interest  of local  businessmen  to import flower, fruit and plants from Indonesia. As well as ways to promote Indonesian tourism and culture that rich in various kinds.

The mystery behind the Mac OS X icons


Have you seen the icons in Mac OS X applications  in more detail? Whether you may use a 30 inches screen, or you zoom in until it fills the screen. Apple, as hardware and computer manufacture that puts the  aesthetics  and design, in fact is a eccentric and perfectionist company.

At first glance, these icons look beautiful and unique, but beyond that, actually Apple insert the 'hidden message' that can only be seen by thorough users, or who have excessive free time to investigate. But you don't need to investigate it one by one, because this article will discuss specifically.




Mail Icon

Mail Application has a very nice icon, that is eagle stamp, and at the bottom left corner there is postmarked with the Apple logo, and the word 'Hello from Cupertino', in which Cupertino is a city in the U.S. where Apple firm stood.


Dictionary Icon

This Big red dictionary, apart from the larga letter Aa, also has a small writing that reads 'Lorem Ipsum dolor Sit Amet Etiam', meaning 'love pain because it is a pain, and so on', from the Latin word is taken from De Finibus Bonorum et Malorum by Cicero. The word is often used also in visual design.

Apple Java Icon
